Uio Overseer reported that the work on Palmer's road and formation oi road alongside the river bank nad been iinished. Tho watertables m Clover loud had been cleared and a bridge re-erected ill F. Webby's road. W'atertables ou Malcolm's and i'aion's cuttings had also been cleared out. Cross road from tho Hope school corner had been ploughed and harrowed. On Parker's road ruts had been filled iv aud ditch cleared out, as well as water tables on Railway street. The remainder of the ditch on Parker's road was in a very bad state, being blocked with wdlow roots, which tinned the water on to the road. Messrs Wells and Beatson wished to know when the road on the clay banks would bo gravelled. Resolved that tho members of the Board meet at Parker's road, and that the work asked for by Messrs Wells and Beatson be done in its turn. lt was resolved that the chairman represent the Board on the Governor's visit committee. The request of Mr W. L. Stratford to be allowed to remove gravel from Aniseed Valley Rocks road was left to the Overseer to deal with. ) Accounts amounting to £26 16s were passed for payment.
