; Christohuroh, Feb. 5. The Canterbury Jockey Club's summer meeting was concluded today in 'fine weather." The .attendance was better than on Thursday^ but the totalisator investments again, showed a decrease, the amount being £4466, as against £6539 last year. The results were: — Richmond Plate, of 100 soys : Kora 1, Countermine 2, Directoire 3. Also started, Maftine and Achray. Won by a neck. Perm weighed out, but while doing his preliminary ran into a fence, and his rider (S. Murfitt) was badly shaken, and had his •wrist broken, and the stewards allowed the horse to be withdrawn. Linwood Welter Handicap, of 100 soys : Guianforte 1, Lovelorn 2, Outlander 3. Also started, Noroff and Gold Braid. Won by a neck. Middle Park Plate, of 500 soys: Madame Madcap 1, Danube 2, Formless 3. Also started, Broadsword, Lady Reina, and Crown Derby. Mad- | ame Madcap was quickest to begin, and led all the way, winning very easily by five lengths, Danube being a length in front of Formless. St. Albans Handicap, of 150 sovB: Gwendolina 1, Flitaway 2, Zetland 3. Also started, Tikitere, Passion, All Guns, and Gunboat._ Won by a head, Zetland two lengths away third. 1 ; Selling Race, of 100 soys: Alexis l,True Knight 2, The Cornet 3. Also started, The Seer, Merry Lass, Shillelagh, Obligate, Nightlight, Gold Braid, Veday Equivocate, Pretty Nell, and Mumura. Won by three lengths. The winner was bought in for £22. ■ Flying Handicap, of 100 soys: Silkweb 1, Zemlia 2, Queen of Spades 3. Also started, Federal, Vologda, Ormolu, Oute, and Montreal. Woa by half a head. Post Handicap, of 100 soys: Genius 1, White Cockade 2, Ristori 3. Also started. King Post, Fasnakyle, Inchbonny, Luperin, and Aunt Sally. Won by ,two lengths.
