In the Brown and Kerr's buckles competition, J. Richards' rink beat C McEachen's.— Bartlett (sub for Wolff), Galbraith, Frost, J. Richards (s), 23.— Glover, Morris, J. McEachen, 0. McEachen (s), 13. The holders were successful in the Harford feathers' competition :— Milner (sub for W. Simpson), A. Dee (sub for Glover), Frost. J. McEaohen (s), 21. — Johnston, Levy (sub), Calder, W. Hockey (s), 18. In the pairs, Galbraith and W. Dee (s) beat Mears and Karsten (s). In the senior championship, E. Richards beat A. Shone. In the Simpson-Horn competition, J. McEachen beat Mil^r-
Mr N. Coungeau, of Adelaide, is evidently a firm believer in the Scout movement. He has given a donation of £50 to the Adelaide Scouts, and, with characteristic wisdom, has left the allocation of the money .to the boys themslves. The suggestions of the various scoutmasters have been of an eminently practical nature, and have fully justified Mr Cbungeau's reliance upon the boys' sense of responsibility. They range from the establishment of a Scout library to the financing of the Easter oamp.
