CUSTOMS DUTIES.

l The following Customs duties were i collected in Nelson during the s month of November : —

The amount collected under the preferential tariff was £83 L3s Bd, Primage duty realised £82 14s Id and I the surtax £13 14s lid. The total amount of duty collected losj November was £2480 l"s 2il, as against £3504 18s 7d for November I of this year, the increase for last month being £1324 11s sd. ' The excise duty last month a.mount- ; ed to £196 7s, 'as against £232 11s J Dd for the corres])onding month last year, a decrease of £36 -Is dd.
