ALLEGED INFANTICIDE.
Gisborne, March 31. Rose Kirwin/ a servant girl, was charged at the Police Court to-day with the manslaughter of a newlyborn female child on March 10. Evidence at r the inquest was > eonfii'med, and this. showed that the child had lived after birth. The accused pleaded nob guilty, and reserved her defence. Shis was committed for trial.
