FIRE AT GISBORNE.

■ INSURANCES £2650. " - Gisborne, March 30. A fire broke out in Gladstone Road to-D.ight before seven o'clock in the mi'linery etablihment of Wellington House, which' is occupied by Mrs Look. The large stock was entirely ruined, aaid the building gutted. The adjoining shop, occxipied, by Mr Andrews, bootmaker, was saved by tho Fire Brigade, -but the stock was considerably damaged by water. It was a wooden building, ■containing two shops; and was owned by Mr Jas. Mawhinney. It was insured, with the fittings, for £1000 in the Guardian Office. Mrs Look's stock was insured-for £400 mthe State Office, and . £750 in the South British. Mr Andrews' stock was insured for £500 in the London and Lancashire Office. -.*">■■■
