HOUNDING A BRiDAL COUPLE.
PERSECUTION OF THE AOKIS. [Peess Association — Ccpteight.] New York, March 29. As the laws of California and Oregon prohibit marriages of whites with Orientals, Miss Emery and Mr Aoki, the Japanese, were married at Seattle (Washington). The Mayor of Tacoma then issued a notice that if the couple appeared in the streets they would be arrested as a public nuisance.
