INQUEST ON WILSON. Wellington, March 28. The inquest was resumed on Saturday concerning the death of Samuel Wilson, as the • result of injuries through the collapse of the roof of a building which was being erected: for the Gear Meat' Company atPetone. William George Lodder, the^ engineer for the Gear Company; said the braces at both end of the ljuilding had been removed without his knowledge, or instruction. If they had been left in position they would have prevented: the accident. George Duncan, a. draughtsman and clerk of the. works, thought the accident was due to the removal of the braces. The inquest was further adjourned till Tuesday.
