WRESTLING.
THE WORLD'S CHAMPIONSHIP. George Hackenschmidt, known as the "Russian Lion," and Frank Gotch of America, have accepted the. terms offered by a Melbourne syndicate to wrestle for the world' s : championship. The match will take place in Melbourne towards the end of the year. The syndicate calcultaes upon the expenditure of £10,000 before the men confront each other on the mat. Both aro to be given their expenses to and from Australia, as well as expenses for their wrestling partners and trainers. ;- Hackerischmidt is now in Londo'n, while Gotch is a Buflalo, U.S.A., where he has been negotiating with Mahmud; the latest "Turkish Terror," to wrestle next month. The agreement stipulates that both Hackenschmidt and Gotch must arrive in Melbourne unbeaten men.
