-' Christchurch, March 16. At the Addington enquiry the evidence called by Mr Beattie was concluded. Mr Beattie intends to make a statement later on. The witnesses called on behalf of the employees were then taken, and evidence was 'given as to several men having invented many invaluable labour saving appliances, but ■ without any recognition from the Department. All the rvoluntary witnesses having been heanr the -President stated that the Board proposed to deal with the evidence in hand. . The parties would be notified as to the resumption of the' enquiry.
