Dunedin, March 12. : Mr Justice • Williams occupied to-day, and probably will be occupied for " fully _a week; hearing a case in which the Calton Brick and Tile Township Company clairii "£SOO compensation from the Go verjinient for damage to a kiln and land through piercing a railway tunnel for the duplication of J the line between Dunedin and Mosgiel. The land is situated on a Jnllside above Caversham. The assessors are Messrs J. jC. ■ Stephens for the claimant and Gerald Fitzgerald for '.the Ciown. Messrs Salmond and Payne are appearing for'the claimant and Messrs Hoskirig, Eraser and Myers for the Crowns . : '"
