I The pigeon is the first bird to become a photographer. A German druggist has invented, a camera of light weight which can be carried by a pigeon and exposures made automatically aY intervals by a unioue form of rubber bulb. So successful has tliis camera proved that it has a Value for military purposes. Amdng tlie photographs taken by the pigeon have beei. ■ views of portionsof the nark, of the | Imperial Palace of Friedfichshof hot open to the^pubhc. This demonstrated the value df the bird photographer for obtaining military data. Pictures can be taken while the bird is travelling at as high a rate of speed as twenty-twtt yards a second. At the invitation of the German Secretary of War, Dr Neubronner has exhibited the camera in service before the aerostatic battalion. • .
