A GRANT OF £12,000 WANTED

Auckland, March 3. As the amount available for the * erection, of the new Technical College at Auckland is considerably less than the amount of the tender for the .Work, according to. the plans prepared for the Education Board, it has decided to ask the Government for a special grant of £12,000, to be distributed over two years, to enable the •Board to accept a tender for the erec r tion of a fire-proof building of ferro concrete, as recommended by the Board ? s consulting architect.
