HARBOUR BOARD ELECTIONS.

Very little interest was displayed *in the biennial elections for the Nelson Harbour Board:' -Nominations closed yesterday, and three old memiers did not seek re-election. In the City and Richmond there will not be a 1 contest, the required number only being nominated.: ' For the Waimea County there will be a poll, four candidates offering for the three vacancies. Messrs Austin Bisley and W: Lock, are the town members, who have retired, and Mr Philip Best, who ; has been a member from the inception of the Board, retires from the County representation. Mr J. C. Mercer is the old member for the City who has been re-elected. Mr George- .Talbot, treasurer of 'tiie Board; and one of the original Board. ■has Jbeen re-elected unopposed -for, Richmond.
