The: Mayor' pre'sfded r and congratulatory .speeches were made concerning the enterprise of the Company and its effort to cater for the local trade. Captain Newton remarked thafitwas his 117 th visit to Uisborne, and he said tbat he bad never, to pass the porS or to overbarry a single package or paasenger.
