SENIOR CHAMPIONSHIP. KAMURAV. ATHLETICS. This match was concluded at the Park on Saturday and resulted in an easy win for the Kamura by 160 runs. At the end of the first day's play the

I scores stood, Kamura 148, (Mead 31, ; Smith 20, v Kinzett 29, Pike 22, Page 12), against the Athletics 69 (Walker 19, Allnatt 15). On resuming on Saturday Kamura again went in to i bat, putting on 130 for four wickets, . when the innings was closed. Mead I was again top score with 42, whilo Smith 39 (not out), Kinzett 23 and Coleman 14 (not out) also batted well. 0 The Athletics, requiring 210 to ._ win, were all disposed of for 50 a mainly owing to the bowling of Pago (who took Fairey's end owing to the 0 latter having hurt his back the pre- ' ; yious Saturday), Bird 14 and Walker t 13 being the only batsmen to reach double figures.
