During the proceedings of the Anglican Synod to-day, the Bishop of Waiupu intimated that it was his intention to forward nis resignation to the Primate ac soon as the other Biahops returned from England, and he could consult with .them. The Rev. Dr. Williams bad previously indicated that he would shortly resign on account of his aga, so that a successor could be more physically able to /iope -with. tb,q work of the Diocese. ■ ::.
