WAVALS AND RIFLES' ASSOCIATION.

ANNUAL MEETING The fourth annual meeting of the Nelson Nav'als and Aelgon ,Rifl9s' Association waa held at the Nelson Rifles' orderly loom recently, when there was a very good attendance. Ex-Captain C. Y. fell pre- " sided. . - Captain Stiles, the sesretary, read a report which detailed the progress .made last year. It was regietted tbat one. member had .pasied away, viz., Mr Wm. Whiting, who made tne fiftieth old member that had died. Thanks were tendered to the kelson Rifles and Mr A. W. Stallard for free use of rooms for meetings, and pleasure was expressed at the return of Mr Fell from his visit to the Old Country. The balance sheet presented by Captain Simpson (treasurer) showed a balance credit of £5 9s 6d. • Both report and balance sbeet were unanimously adopted. - Officers for the ensuing year were elected as follows:— President: ExCaptain Fell; Vice-Presidents: Capinns W.
