Hokitika, Nov. 19. At an enthusipstic meeting" of Mr H. D. Michel's, supporters it was resolved to' hold a monster spcial, and to present Mr Michel with a purse of sovereigns and an illuminated "address. Over £150 has already been subscribed. "The ladies have resolved to present Mrs Michel with a piece of silver plate. 'V ; - ■- - In what was the J old • Westland electorate Mr Michel Had a majority of 200 votes".
