[United Peess Association.] A ucklana, Nov. 19. An interesting feature of the Manakau licecsiog poll ia the inclusion of reburns from Pakatoa Island, an isolated spot, which is the Salvation Army's Home for Inebriates. Hare no less than 30 declared for continuance, and 12 plumped for no licecsß. The question of the legality of the poll of some habitual drunkards at Pakatoa Island has been raised, but it appears that they are not on the same fooling as the occupants of gaols.
