NELSON HORTICULTURAL SOCIETY.
THE SUMMER SHOW. The summer show of the Nelson Horticulture Society will be held in the Drill Shed to-morrow and on Saturday. Great interest is being taken in the show by horticulturists and the exhibition promises to be the largest yet held by the Society. Entries may be made at" Hounsell and Co's up till six p.m. to-day and from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Drill Hall. The judges of the cut flowers and pot plants will be Dr Redman, of Picton, and Sir T. Waugh, of the Hutt, Mr Moller will judge fruit and vegetables and Mr M. P. Webster the preserves, etc. Special prizes m addition to those enumerated on the schedule aro advertised. Exhibits must be at the Drill Hall by 10 a.m. to-morrow, and table decorations must be completed by the same hour. No entries will be received on Friday. It is also notified that members' tickets are obtainable at Messrs Hounsell and Cos.
