Tlie High Commissioner's cable, dated London 14th November, states The mutton market is quiet, but ■firm, and is affected. by expectations of light arrivals from' New Zealand. No' change in^. prices is reported. The lamb market is dull and has been unfavourably affected by large supplies, of Scotch '..■.and Dutch coming forward: Prices have slightly declined for all grades. . . Some holders are forcing sales huh Luyers are holding back, expecting' the prices to go lower. The reports that the factories are increasing the moisture limit has had affected the market vary seriously for New Zealand current. The heriip market Is firmer and there is a better demand..
