Mr Churchill,^ President of the Board of Trade, invites tbe Mancheater societies of employers and employees to meet the Board of rade with a view to "supplementing tbe broottland agreement by methods of ascertaining the a"tual state of trade and tbe establishment of a conciliation snhenie in order to prevent disputes in the cotton 1 rade. The scheme devised will be submitted for approval to the different organisations concerned.
