H Battery, New Zealand Kield Artillery, held at the training camp : - | Hest gunners, who will each receive !£1 and badge: Gunners Esfccourt, | Stanton and Harris. Special monition: Gunners Baxter, Veysey, Wat son' and Noble. Best gun detachment : *'D" subsection under Serjeant L. Sherwood. This subsection will receive tbe Old Members' Challenge Shield, and a donation of £3 frooi Lieut J. T. Rrougb. Best section : No. 2 section, under Lieut. Brough. Best drivers, each wiil receive £1 and badge: Drivers A. AfcKins n, H. Chapman, and W. McLennan. The following are entitled to badges : - S-tgt. Driver Richards. Corpl. Walker, Bomb. Thomas, Drivers Nesbitt and Johnstone. All the N. CO.'s made very high marks. Note, N. CO.'s cannot compete for tbe £1 gratuity. Best signallers : Gunner Jones, Oakley, Branford, Bomb McGregor: each to receive £1 and badge. Besfc range takers: Gunner Floyd, £1 and badge; badges only, Gunners Jones, Oakley, Branford, and Bomb. McG.egor. Best gun layers, £1 aod badges : Corpl. Hurst", Bomb. Anstice, Bomb. Rudman. Best gun layers, badges only: Corpl. Emerson. Gunners Estcourt, Noble, Dayman. W. Stanton, H«nnigan, Corpl. Akers, Bomb. Manssen. The two 15-pounder R. B.L. guns and ammunition waggons for the H Battery nave arrived in Nelson.
