A DASTARDLY CRIME.
Gisborne, March 6. At the Supreme Court James Campbell was Sentenced to two years for wilful damage to tbe Union S.S. Company's steamer Tuatea. The Judge characterised the action as the most cowardly crime, likely to lead to loss of life. The senteuce, his Honor said, was altogether inadequate, but the criminal code did
not provide for such a case.
