ARRIVAL OF THE NIMROD.

Dunedin, March 6. The Nimrod arrivod off tbe Heads at 2.30 this atfernoon, after a run of 13 days from the Antarctic regions. The passengers were Dr 'Mitchell, - Messrs Macintosh and Cotton, wbo landed at Port Chalmers. Mr Mao intosh met with a serious accident, which, it is feared may result in the loss of one eye. A fish book at the end of a line was hanging from tne hood of the companion ladder, and when going below Mr Macintosh brushed against it, with the result that the barb of the hook entered the eyeball. With this exception everything seems to have gone on,wonderfully well in spite of the storms met with. The ponies arc reported to have stood the voyage remarkably well, and as far as could be judged are shaping in an excellent manner. When the Nimrod left the members of the expedition were all well.
