Sir Wilfrid 'Laurier, in the Dominion House of Commons, announced tbat the Prince of Wales' viait would extend over a week, boginning on the 22nd July. The Prince of Wales would be accompanied oy the North Atlantic French Squadron, and American warships would also attend. He 'hoped the Motherland and South Africa would contribute to Tjie fund for the purchase of the sites of Oauadian battlefields^ thus producing a great effect throughout the Empire.
