COUNCIL.
The Legislative Council met at 2.30 p.m. The Legislative Council Election Bill was received from the House. It was thrown out on the first reading, without a division being taken. The Chattels Transfer Amendment Bill, the Foreign Tribunals Evidence and Indictable Offences Summary Jurisdiction Bill were read the second time, and were referred to the Statutes Revision Committee.
The Council rose at 4.45 p.m.
