OBITUARY.

The. ; late Mr. Frederick Taylor, of Colling.wood) was born at Bedfoip on January 24th, 1826, and he enlisted in the 58th Regiment in August, 1844. He left England for New South Wales on January 10th, 1845, in the ship Ann. Became to New Zealand in 1847, and went; to the, Bay of. -Islands. He received hif military discharge in . 1857J ana went to reside at Collingwood, where he was much respected. It will be seen by a paragapb' m the Supplement Sheet that he was accorded a military funeral. The deaths are announced of Mr Patrick Macmahon, a well-known, sheep-farmer of Keneperu, Pelorus Sound; Mr A. M'Uloy,;a well-known West Coast miner and prospector; Mr James Marriner, an old resident of Ohrifitohurdh ; Mrs Ann Watson, a long resident of Fort Chalmers, and a colonist of sixty years ; Captain Alexander Munro, of Port Ahuriri, who was the first to engage in the sea trawling busiiieM at Napier; Mrs Murray ; at Wellington, who had been a colonist for fifty years; Mr H. A. Jourdain, of Auckland, who fought in the Boetf War; Mrs M. Meecb, who resided in Wellington for 53 years;, Mr John McLean, a long resident of ton; Mr H. E.gMynott, a commercial traveller, of Auckland ; Mr P[ Callagban, a well-known settler* ox Banks Peninsula ;Rey.
