CYCLIST COLLIDES WITH A MOTOR CAR.

Wellington, August 19. This afternoon on Lambton Quay, Miss Lena Thompson, a single t woman aged about twenty years, ; while cycling collided with a motor . car. In endevoring to avoid the I cyclist, the motor car was swerved on to the footpath with the result that the plate glass window of Messrs Kircaldie and Stains' shop was smashed. Miss Thompson was much cut and' bruised, and she was { removed to the Hospital in an E unconscious condition. At 11.53 tonight she still remained in the same condition.
