The Motueka team met the Richmond team in tbe cup fixture ob ipp latter.'s ground on Satufdayi ,wheti a well contested ..game, resulted in a win for th« former by two goal* to one. The game was fast and interesting, both teams being in good form, and was played in the presence of a good number of onlookers. Scores were registered for the Motueka team by Staples and Le ; Mottee, and for the local team by Bateup. The most prominent of the Motueka forwards were Boyce, Staples and Le Mottee, and in'the [badkd Trewavag; Ryder; Prfrk and Jennings, and for the local forwards Holland, Wanstall and Chittenden, and thetaoKS Francois, Cowling and Dr. Grford. : ■
