Auckland, August 15. This afternocn Mr Dyer, 6.M., and Captains Sellars and Adamson held an enquiry regarding the wreck of thelscow Surprise off Slipper Island. " The principal witness was Harry Jackson, who wad tne sole survivor of the crew of tive. Tbe Court found tbat the wreck was due to the captain ?a error of judgment. No order was made as to the costs.
