SELLING LIQUOR IN A NO LICENSE AREA.
Oarnaru, July 22. In the case the Police versus White, the Stipendiary Magistrate, in giving his decision, said that in his opinion the locker system had been resorted to as a blind, or shelter behind which it was believed the law could be broken with impunity. The defendant is convicted of selling liquor, and must pay a fine of fifty pounds.
