SHOOTING.
i A match between teams of eight men a-side from the Tadmor Defence Rifle Club and the Nelson Defence Rifle Club was fired at the Toi-Toi Valley Range on Saturday, and resulted in a win for the Nelson Club by 22 points. The day was fine, but sudden variations of. light puzzled most of the maiksmen considerably. Rifleman Alex. Drumraond, of the Tadmor Club, made the highest score in the match, his 47 at 600 yards . being a capital perfor* mance. Kifleman Small, of the Nelson team also shot well. The following are the scores, ranges 500 and 600 yards, 10 shots, one optional sighter : —
