DEMAND FOR OVERTIME.
Dunedin. June 21. A man named Edwards sued the Timaru Milling Company for £200, alleged to be overtime due to him under the Factories Act. Mr Justice Williams in giving judgment said plaintiff did not come under the award of the Arbitration Court. The plaintiff had during one hundred and thirty-eight weeks received five pounds per week as head miller, and the high wages covered overtime. Judgment was given for the Company.
