FLOODS AND LAND SLIPS.

Auckland, June 20. News by the Navua to-day stated that great rains had occurred at the Islands of Tutinla,and Samoa, doing much damage. At Pago Pago and elsewhere some great land slips took place in and around the harbor. One was twenty acres in extent. Another damaged the United States' naval station, and a sergeant of marines was smothered before he could be rescued. Two houses were caught in one of the land slips and wero swept into the sea, but the occupants escaped .
