A Painful Accident.— A very painful accident happened on Wednesday, at Brightwater to a lad named Arthur Snowden, youngest son of Mr John Snowden. Messrs Sncwden Bros were sawing firewood at Mr F. El. Jones' with a circular saw, when a piece of wood slipped, brim- ing T.he thumb of tha lid's left hand in contact with tho s rv.
