WEDDING BELLS.
SANDEKS-BEST, A very pretty wedding was oel« ebrated at 3t. Alban's Church, Appleby, on Tuesday last, by the Rev. T. Meyer, the contracting parties being Mr Herbert Basil Sanders, schoolmaster, Collingwood, son of Mr William Sanders, of Nelson! and Miss Lillian Eliza Bost,tihrd daughter of Air and Mrs John Best, of Appjeby. The bride, who looked charming, wore a silk brocaded voile, with chiffon and silk ruchein?, and carried a beautiful shower bouquet of holly berries, and red streamers. Tbo bridmaides were the Misses Elsie Constance Best and' Evelyn Best, sisters of the bride. The former wore a cream serge dress, with hat to match, and the latter a., white Indian lawn, trimmed with Val-. enciennes, lace and insertion, with pretty white chiffon'hat. Mr Albert Best, brother of the bride, acted as best man, and Mr Ernest Sanders, brother of the bridegroom, as groomsman. The bridegroom's present to the bride was a silver-mounted brush and comb, and the bride's present to the pridegroom a watch guard. The bridesmaids were the recipients of prayer books from the bridegroom. As the happy couple left the church, the Wedding March was played by Miss Bartletfe. A large number of guests afterwards sat down to breakfast at tbe residenoe of the brides parents, when tha usual toasts were honored, b.lr and Mrs Sanders were tie recipients of many useful and Valuable presents, including a silver thistle cruet from the Oollingwood school children, and a gipsy kettle from the members of the Choir of St. Cuthbert's Church, Ccllingwood. Mr and Mrs Sanders, after the wedding breakfast, left on their hnnpymoon, the bride's travelling dress ' being navy blue cloth coat and skirt, , with hat to match. .££ggS ~£££|
