FRANCO-JAPANESE AGREEMENT.

Both undertake to respect equality of treatment in China Sor commerce and subjects of all nations. ' Members of the Chamber of Deputies unanimously cheered M. Pichon's explanatory statement claiming "that the interests of Germany, Italy and the United States had been particularly safeguarded since the agreements were based on the economic equality of all.
