BRITISH POLITICS.

WELSH DISESTABLISHMENT. Received June 18, 10.24 p.m. London, Jon© 18. Sir H. C. Bannerman assured a deputation of Welsh members of the House of Commons that the Government bad the fullest desire, and expectation, to deal with the question of Welsh Disestablishment as soon as possible during |this Parliament, but in view of the House of Lords question he did not think it wise to fix a date. He was convinced that the measure would consolidate the Welsh national forces. Mr Asquith declared it would be a matter of reproach if Parliament ended without the Bill passing through all stages.
