LAWN TENNIS.
London, June 9. In the various tennis events, Brookes (Victorian) won the singles in the northern championship at Manchester. He lost only three games during the entire competition. Casdagi and Charlton defeated Brookes and Rendall for the doubles. Lowe and Bentley defeated Sharp and Doust (a Sydneyite) in the final for the East Surrey Doubles.
