NELSON AND MARLBOROUGH M.C.C. TEAM.

The following have been chosen by Mr C. H. Broad to represent Nelson in the match Nelson and Marlborough v M. Ci C. team, at Trafalgar Park on January 17th and 18th Newth, W. l^owler.Griffiths (Brightwater), Stiles,Day,Kinzett (United), Knapp, Blincoe l( Athletic), Orford (Phoenix), Sandel (College), Louisson (Nelson), J. Duncan (Motueka), and three players from Marlborough, two of whom must be their best batsmen, and one their best bowler. Emergencies: Bowlers (to replace either Griffiths, Day, Kinzett, Knapp and Louisson, in tbe event of any of them being unable to play), Fairey, Johnston, Lines, Goodman; batsmen (to replace any of the others unable to play, Neale, A. Griffiths, Hair, Livick, Chisholm;

Tbe following will represent the United Club against the Phoenix Club at Richmond on Saturday next : Messrs Stiles, Kinzett, Johnston, Page, Galbraith, Hellyer, Winter, Logan, Stevens, Williams, Green. The team leave by the 1-30 train.
