DEATH FROM FRACTURE OF THE SKULL

Wellington, January 1 The District Coroner held an inquiry yesterday into the circumstances of the death of James Duncan, a laborer, who was found on the Queen's Wharf yesterday, in a moribund condition. The evidence went to show that the deceased had had an epileptic seizure, and an autopsy disclosed fracture of the base of tbe skull. The jury found that death was caused by this injury, there being no evidence to show how it was caused.
