FOOTBALL.
OTAGO V. WANGANUI
(Per United Press Association). Wanganui, September 18. The football match between Otago and Wanganui was played to-day in excellent weather, and resulted in an easy victory or Otago by 24 points to 5. In the first spell, which ended with the score Otago 8 points to 5, the T play was fairly |even, but in the second half the Wanganui defence fell to pieces, and Otago ran up 18 points. The Wanganui forwards played a good game, but the Otago backs out-played those of Wanganui.
