THE WESTLAND ELECTION.
Hokitika, July 11. Mr Michel, one of the candidates for tho Westland soat gave hsi final town address in the Theatre to-night before a very large attendance. He had a very patient hearing and a cordial reception'at the hands of an enthusiastic audience. A vote of thanks was carried with musical honors. Mr Seddon speaks to-morrow night, and the poll takes place on Friday. The election is exciting great interest throughout the district
