(From Our Own Correspondent. ) The annual general meeting in connection with the Waimea Horticultural, Industrial and Foultry Association was held in the Oddfellows Hall, Wakefield, on Monday, Ju#e lltb. Mr P. Baigent presided. The Secretary (Dr. Peilrless) read the report and balance sheet. The balance-sheet showed the total re ceipta to bo £87 2s 6d, and -the "expenditure £89, there being a loss o: J?2 23 (sd, . but against this th( Association have assets worth j630. The finances are therefore in i healthy state. It was decided to hold the Spring Show as usual, including poultry. The schedule fo.r the fdrthboniinj Show will be Revised and improved: thjsi-e b'ejng Several special prize; offered for the different classes which should cause keen competitioi among the exhibitors.
