SEAMEN'S UNION AND ARBITRATION COURT.

Dunedin, February 15. The following resolution was unanimously endorsed at a general meeting of the Seamen's Union held this evening:— That this meeting expresses its astonishment at the terms of the award of the Arbilra tion Court, in the case of the Seamen's Union versus the Union S.S. Company and other shipowners. It is emphatically of opinion thnt the decision of the Court has not the slightest relation to that justice which we have been led to expect from a judicial tribunal; and in view of the obvious impossibility of securing ,an award based on the weight of evidence adduced, we consider it useless to spend further time and money on the Arbitration Court proceedings.
