HAWERA RACES.

Hawera, February 15. The results of the races to-day were as follows: — Waimate Handicap: St. Claimer 1, Tambourina 2, Delamere 3. Lady Annie was scratched. Dividends, £4 11s and £1 7s. Inaha Hack Flat: Pungaroa 1, Merriwai 2, The Lark 3. Land o; Cakes and Tanturn were scratched. Dividends, £3 7s and £3 13s 6d. Eltham Hardies: Vexation 1, De Foe 2, Catherine Gordon 3. Kbama was scratched. Dividend, £318s 6d. Okaiawa Hurdleß: Geologist 1, Haereroa 2, Mawhite 3. Cassiopea was scratched. Lion Heart, Inglewood, and Mawhiti fell, the two latter at the final hurdle, thus allowing Geologist, who was then a furlong away, to win. Dividends, £3 5s 6s and £11 10s. Atkinson Memorial Stakes: Glenullin 1, Grenade 2, Paritutu 3. Dividends £7 6s 6d and £13. ■ Hack Scurry: Clementine 1, The Lark 2, Colleen 3. Uplands, Docile, Courriere and Brown George were scratched. Dividends, £6 14s and £1 4a 6d. Normanby Welter: Regulation 1, Polycaste 2, Submarine 3. Kuroki and Lovelink were scratched. Dividends, £2 14s 6d and £1 Is. Teroti Hack: Nova 1, Maharanui 2, Slavey 3. Makikihi and Kaimere also ran. Dividend £5 Bs. A protest was entered against Nova for alleged inconsistent running, but it was dismissed.
