To day the Southland County Council sued the Winton Borough for its share of the licensing expenses of the Awarua district, which the defendant body refused to pay until the amount sot forth in the certificate of the Chairman of the Licensing Committee for tbe members' expenses' of attending the meetings was reduced to the actual cost of travelling. Judgment was reserved.
