FEDERAL MAILS.
Received March 1, 11.22 p.m. XiOKDON, March 1. Lord Stanley, the PostmasterGeneral, in the House of Commons, replying £to Mr Bhownaggree, said the Government did not think further representations from Australia relative to mails would be useful, especially since there was no reason to believe that the Commonwealth had abandoned the idea of a weekly service.
